Suzanne’s body is changing faster than her moods after IVF shots to get pregnant. When she finds out, on her birthday, that her husband has knocked up his younger, thinner co-worker and wants a divorce, she turns to desperate and hilarious measures to lose weight and get a life.

It 's more of dry humor, and most really wouldn't understand it. But even as a young 21 year old black girl with a short afro, I understood Suzanne. I got it And I loved this movie. It's was unconventionally funny and we need more movies like this is the world.

Funny and empowering. A great message and really, great laughs throughout. It's true satire, the scene with the overweight, judgey diet doctor was my favorite. What a great metaphor about how we objectify women in this culture!

Ladies love yourselves now...not 5 lbs from now! Don't let anyone tell you how you should look, it's all up to you. Start by loving you because you are enough! Must see movie!
