In the days before the American Revolution, the colonists lived in a narrow strip of land along the eastern coast of North America, a massive, unknown and forbidding continent. But a few of the bravest settlers risked everything in a search for a valuable route across this land--the Northwest Passage. 1754. During the French and Indian War, a daring band led by Major Robert Rogers (Academy Award winner Spencer Tracy) set out across the wild lands in search of the desperately sought route. Exploring, discovering new territories, new peoples and, always, new adventures, this small band searches for the Northwest Passage.
