About this movie

In this adaptation of David Nicholl's popular novel, Academy Award-nominee Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess play lovers who fall in love on the day they meet in 1988. Over twenty years, snapshots of that relationship are revealed on the same day--July 15th--of each year. As time passes, they face squabbles and fights, hopes and missed opportunities, laughter and tears. And as the true meaning of this one crucial day is revealed, they must come to grips with the nature of love and life itself. From the acclaimed filmmaker Lone Scherfig.

If I could I would give this film more than five stars. My favourite film and book actually. I would recommend this film to eveyone. It's such a beautiful tale of two people over twenty years. It's so heart warming. Through this film you'll smile, cry, laugh and I think you'll fall in love with the characters of Em and Dex. I can watch it over and over again.

Beautiful, heartwarming, funny and very real. I loved Emma from the beginning and Dexter by the end. Please remove the thoughtless first comment... Knowing the ending totally took away from the experience of the film.
