Every Friday night Shirley invites another "perfect" woman for Shabbat dinner in hopes that her son, Nelson, will marry a nice Jewish girl. Nelson, however, has something to tell them...he's gay!

Really cute movie that shows some of the struggles that some parents go through when their son (or daughter) first comes out. The family is a very loving family with an overbearing mother who loves her kids. Yes, the movie does have it's slow moments but the message is great. Love is all that matters. I, personally, enjoyed it very much...especially the last few scenes. they were very heartwarming.

The family. Confused but at the end they set up for him against the haters of gay marriage it was a beautiful story.

Good movie. Felt a little like My Big Fat Greek Wedding, but Jewish and gay. Hilarious !
