This is an amazing film and has a great cast of actors. Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Antonio Banderas, it shows the homophobia that was in the 1980's when AIDS was discovered and Andy's case against the lawfirm he worked for when they fired him. It makes you feel good that justice is finally done and it's gutting when he dies from the condition because of the lack of treatments that were available at that time. The 1980's were a truly homophobic time and this film shows the views that some completely ignorant people had. It is a feel good film because of the justice the character finally receives against the scumbags he worked for. A truly classic film.
