While conducting experiments in a garage, two brilliant engineers who lead double lives accidentally discover that their project enables them to travel back in time. Each man's curiosity leads to experiments without the other's knowledge, some with serious consequences. In an "ingenious blend of sci-fi and mystery" (Steven Read, "Philadelphia Inquirer"), viewers are challenged to solve the puzzle that is Primer.

Studios today put to much focus on space ships and lights swords, when filming science fiction. These things are cool, and make for great entertainment and large revenue but more often than not ignore science completely. Primer boldly blends science with the impossible. I would highly recommend this if you enjoy science fiction.

Primer is a movie you'll watch and watch again - each time picking up little clues along the way, or catching certain subtleties that validate your theory. While its slower pace may put off some people, it is the type of movie that will lose you quickly if you tune out. Most importantly - it is driven by great writing in place of "stunning visuals."

probably the best time travel movie I've ever seen love it such a good idea and I was hoping more movies would come from these guys but I haven't kept up. Mind blowing flick though... Super good - addressed paradoxes big time.
