Its a light simple movie...about culture shock, a girl stepping out the usual and finding her spirit. Enjoyed Kangana's acting quite a contrast from her glam roles in the past. Her open acceptance of diff standards in other cultures is refreshing and her ability to see the positive qualities in her new friends makes a mockery of the typical indian middle class snobbery. But some over dramatization of her shock i felt and a bit too less of a story line are the only hindrances. Overall enjoyable

Though some viewers may point out that "Queen" s idea is taken from sridevis "English vinglish ", this idea has been taken to a whole new dimension in queen and the latter has been successful in creating a visual experience which is etched into our hearts . Kangana ranaut makes every scene perfect and moves the film forward with a charm and naivety which she can be proud of . The true feelings of a woman which craves for freedom but is chained up by the customs here is beautifully portrayed throughout .
