Joshua Stoneburner
This movie has so many things right with it. Stallone, by this point, was no longer a struggling actor/writer as he not only had three highly successful movies in this series along with the Rambo series going at the same time. In addition to the acting, writing and directing being way above par for this time, Stallone choose to give a new movie musician a chance. His name was Vince DiCola. He went on to do the instrumental soundtrack for the only official movie, The Transformers Movie in 1986.

To beat me , he's going to have to kill me! This is by far , my favourite. Of the ROCKY sequels , with its gripping story , fast paced and a killer soundtrack . By Vince decola, ROCKY IV. Russian amateur heavyweight boxer Ivan Drago , has a friendly exhibition match . With former champion Apollo Creed , which ends horrific. As Drago kills Creed , now Rocky wants to avenge . His good friends death ,and take on the tall Soviet killing machine, in Russia's capital Moscow. To a fight to the death .

You gotta love it for what it is! The training montages and music are great. Fight scenes... well, they have always been over the top and nobody could take that kind of a beating, but who cares, this entertainment and gets the adrenaline flowing. Rocky! Rocky! They could try blocking a punch or two! A better plot would have been Rocky throwing in the towel and Drago getting in the deadly blow anyways. Difficult to see Rocky speaking at Apollo's funeral and his wife not going in for the KO.
