My family watches this every New Year's Eve RELIGIOUSLY. We don't allow ourselves to any other day. Personally it's my favorite Rankin Bass film. Not only is it a nice way to ease out of the holiday season, but it's actually also a pretty good story about self love. I'm always finding new things in it I hadn't noticed before, which just makes it so much more enjoyable. My cousin and I have come to form a conspiracy theory that the characters Rudolph meets (Sev, Sir 1023, O.M.) are in fact the baby new year/father time of their corresponding year, and manifest as a significant person of that year. Note I'm writing this in April but I found it here and had to buy it.

love this animated christmas show. Like Rudolph the red nose reindeer, this is a continuence and both are timeless Christmas shows. Growing up, it was a tradition in our home, our family , to watch Rudolph together every year. Had we missed watching it as a family, christmas would not have have been the same.

I'm 31 and not a big Xmas guy but I never miss this movie,or the others like, Jack Frost, The year without a Santa Claus,the new year's baby, and the Land of misfit toys.
