An excessive attempt at being cerebral. Each actor puts up a solid effort, and Walken is a can't miss. But the plot drags at times, and the writer fills it by mocking traditional plot lines and narrative techniques. I'd pay $2 to watch it.

Seven Psychopaths is better than the trailer lets on. It's not as good as it could have been, for sure, but it's far from as bad as the trailer makes it look. Absurd, funny and thoughtful as it periodically breaks the fourth wall while playing with the notion of "violence is bad" then having fun with it. A good movie. Will watch again.

Honestly, if you don't like quirky action films with dark humor and jarring characters this movie isn't for you. Imagine not enjoying anything Walken puts his hands on. 11/10 film, all star cast and a phenomenal story. Will watch again and again and again.
