I'm usually entertained by all water movies. I've been close to several large sharks in the water in Cape Hatteras, the largest being a 14' hammerhead. This movie is on Netflix now and is just agonizing to watch. The acting is bad, and there's nothing to make you really like any character or become involved in the story plot which is non-existent. I found myself just turning the movie off less than halfway through. Save your money!

I shut it off half way through. Wait until its on basic cable in a week and watch it for free. The acting was awful. The characters were very cliche, a bunch of 30 year old college students with traumatic life issues. The award should go to the CG shark for best performance. I'm gonna just watch tremors.

I watched this flick just for the helluvit..didn't expect anything innovative or informative about sharks. The film seems to raise a debate of sharks not being able to exist in fresh water. WRONG!! I live very near the area where the first recorded shark attacks on the Us. East Coast happened--- back in 1916 New Jersey. They were what inspired Peter Benchley to pen "JAWS". Some of the attacks occurred in freshwater backstreams...the predator was said to be the Bull Shark..which CAN live in fresh water!
