Star Maps is the story of Carlos, a precocious 18 year-old who returns to America with dreams of becoming a movie star. Standing in Carlos' way is his tyrannical father, Pepe, and his "business." With the help of a beautiful television star, Carlos struggles to break from his father, his oppressive family, and make his dream come true.
