WARNING: SPOILERS. Overall, a really good sequel to a very bleak and spare but incredibly intense original. This version is let down by pointless editing - Kyle's cameo in Sarah's dream at the hospital, the T-1000 killing the dog (not actually shown, but still, important), and the guy Sarah decides to assassinate in the hope of stopping the war, his last thoughts were of his wife, telling her he loved her and cutting that essentially strips away his humanity. Still worth watching though.

The best Sci-fi action movie of all time, also the best sequal of all time! The action & cinematography is excellent, the lighting & tone match very well & the special effects are a bit dated now, but were way ahead of their time. Seriously this & The Matrix really moved the game on! The movie looks sharper than ever & the new colour grading is a nice finishing touch. My only criticism is the lack of deleted scenes, even then I hear the Blu-Ray has them, but not re-graded. 5* otherwise 100%.

Arnie actually gives a really compelling performance in this film and Robert Patrick is easily the best villain of the franchise. He trained himself hard for the role learning to fire a gun without blinking and running without showing heavy breathing or breathlessness....Linda Hamilton and Ed furlong also give good performances and the CGI still holds up to - and is better rhan- a lot of what today has to offer. One of the best action films ever made
