So spider man has changed over time, and as much as you'll hate me for saying it, but Andrew Garfield is Better Spiderman than Maguire. I dont know why, but every time hes on screen he just screams Peter Parker to me. The story is when it starts to fall. It's your common villain yes good intentions but becomes evil plot. Also the villain is pretty forgettable. The Lizard, though being a good modern representation of the evil villain, is just forgettable. But never the less, still a good flick.

ExpectalarTeenage social outcast Peter (Andrew Garfield) spends his days trying to unravel the mystery of his own past and win the heart of his high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). A mysterious briefcase belonging to his father, who abandoned him when he was a child, leads Peter to his dad’s former partner, Dr. Connors. The discovery of his father's secret will ultimately shape his destiny of becoming "Spider-Man" and bring him face to face with Connors' villainous alter ego, the Lizard.
Ok I loved the story line and I'm glad they kept true to the comics but this is how it sucked mary jane as a nerd one she wasn't a nerd in the comics so don't in the movie and poor casting I've only heard of three of the actors Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field tho the guy playing Peter Parker/Spiderman did a good job. Hurry up and make a sequel also one other good part is making the villian the lizard
