About this movie

Thomas and Oren are having a secret affair. When Oren dies in a car crash, Thomas travels to Jerusalem seeking answers regarding his death. Thomas infiltrates the life of Oren’s newly widowed wife, Anat; and what started as a lie threatens to become something much more powerful.

Ratings and reviews

Telling and Moving The film reminded me of Eat Pray Love, however, I felt that it dealt with food, faith and the human bond with much less judgement. I loved how the story took place in different worlds: one of liberal dalliances in Berlin and the other of familiar traditions in Jerusalem! I felt that as the director slowly connected the two, the film grew rich with insight into the grief of all of the characters.
