About this movie

“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real‐life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.

I was very excited to watch the latest installment of the Conjuring Universe. I was not disappointed. The deviation from the usual "haunted house" theme inspired a breath of fresh air into the franchise, and the steady double act of Farmiga and Wilson took the change in their stride. Both were convincing in their roles. Admittedly, the first 15 minutes exhibit the most horror, the rest of the film relying on jump scares, but this didn't affect the overall quality of the film. Would recommend.

Awesome loved it! It's made a change from usual storyline while keeping all the hauntingly demon scenes. Plenty of scares plenty of entertainment and a unique take on their usual storytelling "how to prove possession after the possessing demon has already gone?" "Was he really possessed at all?" Its worth a watch for any fans of the genre I personally love it. But make your own mind up. Take care. Rachy x
