In terms of cinematography, this might be one of the most beautiful films in existence. While I love the older adaptation with James Caviezel, the acting in this is incredible and the film sets are flawless. One of my all-time most favorite films for sure. Every time I watch it, I appreciate the effort put into this. No wonder it had an almost 12-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival. Too bad the woke crowd in America cares more about agendas and "bravery" than true art.

Graigry Henrie
One of the best adaptations of the novel that has ever been put to film. With excellent pacing, the movie is never boring and somehow manages to make 3 hours seem short. Though there are deviations from the novel, they are well thought out and the main themes remain unchanged. The ending both satisfies the audience's desire to see vengeance but also allows for hope for our main cast. Overall completely worth the money and one we will be watching again and again.

Just like the book, little different from American version however I enjoyed it.
