About this movie

Under the watchful eye of Sister Assumpta, the boys plot to unleash the ultimate prank, involving a man-eating cougar, their school's statue, and a lot of cough medicine. While the boys imagine their exploits in a comic book called "The Atomic Trinity," Francis begins his growth to adulthood with Catholic schoolgirl Margie Flynn.

This 2002 film is often sweet, cute, & relatable in many ways. However, the experience of boomers who created this in 2002, attending Catholic School in the 50s & 60s, was portrayed as if it were current. It is embarrassingly irrelevant, out of touch, and outdated, because, during my time attending Catholic School in the 90s, the most human, genuine, and wonderful people that I have ever met were Catholic Sisters & Priests. This Movie is shamefully trapped in a singular experience of boomers.
