About this movie

Hazel (Shailene Woodley) and Gus (Ansel Elgort) share a sarcastic wit, a disdain for the ordinary, and a love that sweeps them on an unforgettable journey. Although the teens face challenges, they learn that while life isnā€™t perfect, love is extraordinary. Laura Dern (Little Fockers) and Sam Trammell (TVā€™s True Blood) also star in this powerful film based on John Greenā€™s New York Times bestseller.

John Green is a pure genius. I watched this movie, and related to the cancer parts. My family has a lot of people with cancer (even lung), and the movie is so touching and just so...beautiful. A heart-breaking romance that is based off cancer that was written by a 37 year old but in the eyes of a 16 year old deserves 5 stars. And that, is what i'm giving John Green's TFIOS.

The most amazing, well written and bittersweet, real life lovestory I've seen in a very long time. Yes you'll cry and you'll laugh but it's definitely a must see. Especially if you have family or friends living with chronic illnesses. It gives hope. And we all could use a little hope right now.

This movie is beautiful and will always be. John Green is an amazing author who wrote an amazingly beautiful novel that was well adapted and nicely preformed by the actors (Ansel Elgort!!!!!). I will agree that the book was better and that the movie isn't precisely like the book but I still loved it sooooo much. (I would love preferred Ansel had blue eyes because we all know how gorgeously blue Gus's eyes were šŸ˜, and don't even get me started on Isaac/Nat Wolfe) all in all worth the money.
