Ratings and reviews

Excellent film. Stellar acting, direction, cinematography, and sound design that immerses you in the atmosphere. It's relentless in pace but, unlike it's Swedish predecessor, remains faithful to the original characters and story. And while the 5-act structure may feel long, in the end it only leaves you wanting more.

I liked the film but think I like the original better. Rooney Mara was great but Daniel Craig kind of ruined this a bit for me. Still worth a watch!

I dont usually dont usually comment, but this is the worst movie I have seen ever! Atmospheric yes, bad plot, boring most of the way through, sat waiting for it to kick into gear, but thoroughly disappointed!
