The film is exciting. The cast choices were interesting and created some unique characters. I enjoyed Foy’s iteration of the Lisbeth Salander character. The storyline and character development unfortunately has some holes that kept me from fully engaging with it. The story itself was very similar to the Swedish sequels and there were a lot of moments that felt typical of an action film: chase, rescue, infiltration. Worth a watch.

Boring and unnecessary. Claire Foy was totally not believable as Lisbeth. It was already embarrassing enough that America remade the first original Girl With The Dragon Tattoo merely a year or two after the original was released. It barely made it to DVD and the U.S. was slready trying to capitalize on This movie looks really cheap. I was disappointed too because Fede Alvarez struck gold twice the Evil Dead reboot and Dont Breathe. Dont waste your time or money. Go to the dollar tree instead.

Hands down the best movie of ALL the Dragon movies to stem from the book series! I will always identify Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Calender, but Claire Foy kicks ass in this one! The action basically starts from the first scene, and doesn't let up until end credits roll. I will definitely be adding this movie to my library. WOW!!
