I don't care what people have to say. I despise this film. I am well aware that this movie was made during a time when the world was less enlightened. Direction for actors/actresses are heavily based on generalizations, which are not even slightly convincing. Also, Luise Rainer only got the role because she was white. I don't think this film deserves any praise. I spit on this film.

Wonderful movie. Why people don't like it is a puzzle to me. If you dislike the movie, then don't watch it. No one cares. Don't try to trash it!!
