It's painful seeing a director you usually like (Q. Tarantino) create something so abysmal. The closest thing I can compare it to is an attempted remake of some actually well-done Westerns like "Once Upon a Time in the West". Except that movie was well-directed, and the actors in it weren't instructed to act below their capabilities. This isn't storytelling. It's a mockery of storytelling with cheap bylines attempting to create the illusion of belief.

A great, well written movie with very powerful acting all around. If you don't enjoy Tarantino's long scenes of dialogue this isn't for you.
