THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Ratings and reviews

The love triangle between the main characters is nowhere near as intense as in the novel, although the sense of social injustice and the resulting desperation and outrage are captured excellently. Plus, there's too much of President Snow and Plutarch Heavensbee, explaining away the purpose of the crackdown, the games' strategy, etc. Once again, compared to the book, it's redundant and boring. But perhaps it's because I've actually read the books.

The movie is Okay (not more than that) but Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are really bad. No charisma whatsoever - the variations in facial expression are next to non-existent. They could be substituted by computer-rendered actors and nobody would even notice the difference.

I love the hunger games trilogy catching fire the movie was yea but cld nt reach my highest marks of 5☆sadly mocking-jay P1 was not at all like the book so MJ P-1 was poorly done and is given 2.5☆
