This movie is a decent sequel to Jurassic Park. It is a welcome expansion of the lore the original has set up. It has its flaws and some plot holes but they can be explained, as fans have already done. It's often overlooked and underrated which could be because the first movie was a masterpiece. I think if this movie was released now it would have gotten better reviews than it has. But I'm a fan of Jurassic Park so I could be somewhat biased with the review.
