About this movie

Based on Robert Browning's poem about the horrors of the plague in the middle ages and of one town's deal with the Pied Piper to get rid of the rats that carried the disease. But the town has a moral disease worse than the plague.

The film is wonderful - 5 stars for the film - buy the DVD, if you can, rather than paying the inflated fee for viewing on this "service".

The pied piper was satan/Pan. It was just dressed up to sound cute for kids and adults.
