I'm a capitalist, but the definition of happiness in this movie is kind of sick - he makes his child stay in a homeless shelter for his selfish goals. Terrible film.

A heart warming and breaking movie. The struggles of trying to keep going after being knocked down and trying to provide and support your family. Brilliant acting, and even more so its father and son off set. Very moving and i agree money isnt everything, but it makes the world go round unfortunately. It cant buy love, but love and devotion was clearly at the pit of this mans heart..he wasnt pursuing this out of greed, you could feel he had his family and the future of his kids in heart and soul. Loved this movie and it gives a good feeling of how no matter how much you may get knocked down, get back up, keep fighting esp if you have the thought of your kids and wife, get back up keep fighting. This man did, dreams do come true, Chris Gardener is proof of that. Amazing ending for an amazing man Xx
