There is a reason the movie critics are raving about this movie!! It's fantastic! Sabrina Van Tassel does an amazing job of bringing to light the flaws in this case while remaining impartial and letting the viewer decide if TX is wrong (and they are)! Never before seen footage of the children's video interrogations with a clinical child care specialist immediately rule out the joke of a trial defence lawyer's claims the children were too unruly to sit in a courtroom & testify, making the defence harder. No, the defence had other aspirations, which he got: the DA's office job immediately after this case. Poor & uneducated, addicted to drugs & suffering from PTSD (battered women's syndrome) Melissa was the perfect target for a criminal prosecutor (who's now serving 13 years for taking bribes among other things). This woman never misses a chance to talk about how much she misses her children, unlike others we have seen on DR. She never whines about her punishment, only that it has taken away time with her kids and grandchildren. A must see. The 5th court of criminal appeals has overturned this this case, TX appealed that decision and then Covid-19 wrecked havoc...so still we await the court's 2nd decision in this matter.

Disgusting, this demon bit and beat a 2 yr old to death. And being the first latino female on death row, using the race gender card does excuse it.

She is evil, beating a 2 yr old to death does not get a free passby using the race card.
