About this movie

In this updated adaptation of H.G. Wells' classic novel, a scientist in 1880s Victorian England builds a vehicle to transport him through time. He first travels to 1917 and the horror of World War I. Next, he sets his destination for 1940 and the start of World War II. From there he travels to a future London when he barely escapes nuclear holocaust. Finally, he sets his destination for the year 802,701 C.E., when he meets an innocent race of people living in an idyllic land ... but this future may be the most dangerous of all his journeys in The Time Machine.

I'm not a huge fan of remakes but I did like this one alot. I like the aspect that he had a personal reason for traveling into the future. It's well done and well acted and has a great score. I feel it does a great justice to the original classic.

I've been waiting for you all to catch up & offer this and several other movies, like, Mel Brooks The History of the World Part 1 and "Caveman" starring Ringo Starr, Shelley Long, and several others from 1984. I'm SO happy that you're finally getting it done!

Definitely not as bad as critics say, but admittedly not perfect either, second half gets weird but still tolerable. Worth at least checking out and watching scenes from it if not sure. Just my thoughts.
