Excellent movie with the wonderful Denzel Washington doing what he does best. One of my top ten favourites I'd give it ten stars if I could - it's a thrill ride from start to finish, never a dull moment. I'm surprised it doesn't have more reviews, highly recommended!

The story line was great, I liked the lead detective and rookie team up, reminded me of colors, which was also a gangland style film. Really great acting and as usual Denzel Washington delivers a punch of a knockout film. Ethan Hawke Rookie cop plays a great role which has allowed us to see his true acting talent. Solid all the way through, and then seeing Snoop Dogg, Macy Gray, Dr.Dre and even Tom Berenger and Scott Glenn was worth the 120 minute profile. I would happily watch it a few times more.

I really do love this film, watched when I was younger with my dad, which we got in trouble for :-D but absolutely love this film and would happily recommend to anyone.
