“Trapped in the Rocky Mountains” deserves 4 stars. It is a fascinating story of survival in harsh conditions that keeps you in suspense from beginning to end. The descriptions of nature and atmosphere are conveyed very realistically, making the reader feel like they are in the center of the action. The characters are well written and their struggle for survival is really touching. However, in places the narrative drags a bit, which slightly reduces the momentum.
