One can tell by reading other views that this movies is not for everyone. But if you have never been to a reunion with over 1,000 people then it seems fake. This was real to me and extremely funny at times while sad at others. You are blessed if your family was so polite and everybody believed the same way, had degrees and great jobs. No body was on drugs and you never experienced the dunk uncle. Actually if he told the truth, it should have been much worse. We've had a family reunion recently. I dare you to spend four days with fifty-six people in a house. Are you so close minded to think that there was no drama? There was and to top it off, Medea got everyone to come. You go girl! I guess you never heard of CPT time. Someone can show up and say, "is it over already?" Or what if they had it in large city and their city cousins dropped their country cousins off on a subway? That actually happened to me once. THANK GOD FOR CELL PHONES!

The beginning and middle of this movie had nothing to do with a family reunion. The end was basically a family reunion squeezed together with a wedding. This movie would've been a 5 star if the plot was better worked out because the ending was pretty much not relevant to the beginning or middle of the movie. Overall, this movie was good✌.
