About this movie

Kalidasan (Prakash Raj) works in the State Archaeological department and is a food lover. He leads a simple life, uses an old car and lives with his assistant (Thambi Ramaiah). Naveen (Tejus) is Kalidasan's nephew and comes over to his place in search of a job. While Kalidasan is busy leading a normal life he gets a misdialed phone call from Gowri (Sneha), a dubbing artiste living with her friend Meghna (Samyuktha). Their conversations do not go well at first, but a long-distance romance develops due to their common interest being cooking and food. They are jittery to meet in person, as they are conscious of their own physical appearances, and unknowingly decide to send Naveen and Meghna. The duo fall in love with each other and this brings us to the twist in the story. Will Kalidasan and Gowri reveal their identity? The film features the original score and soundtrack by Ilaiyaraaja. It is a remake of Aashiq Abu's Malayalam film "Salt N' Pepper". (CBFC U DIL/1/12/2014-CHE)
