Set against the backdrop of the Manassas Tigers' 2009 football season, UNDEFEATED is a coming-of-age story centering on three underprivileged student athletes from inner-city Memphis and an unexpected volunteer coach, Bill Courtney, as they strive to win the first playoff game in the high school's 110-year history. The perennial underdog of the district, the Manassas team had gone so far in the past as to sell their home games to the North Memphis' highest bidder, but that all changed in the spring of 2004. Like a real-life FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, this emotional and inspiring film paints an enthralling portrait and received unanimous praise at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. © 2012 Alliance Films, Inc.
