About this movie

Jess (Eliza Dushku) and her friends find their camping plans are challenged when they drive into a barbed-wire trap. Chris is taking a back road short-cut when he literally runs into the group, further damaging their vehicle as well as his own. Now stranded, they team up. At first it's just to find some help - but when they stumble upon a cabin in the wilderness filled with murdered and mutilated travellers, and then a group of gruesome mountain men - it's to find a way to survive. It's the most stupid movie I've seen in ages, not a bit scary, just some mutant guys killing people with no reason. I can't believe I paid for such pile of crap, veeeerrryyy dissapointed.

This is a classic horror movie but the sequels are rubbish. Characters are clear and draw you in. The script is tight with a wonderful combination of whimsy that makes you want to invest in the arc of the victims. Editing is well paced with just the right mix of high points and inevitable gore. And it never hurts to have clothed eye candy. Nudity is no substitute for a good horror flick ... so long as it serves the story / character development and doesn't include truck sized silicon whoppers then cool.

This film is epic, seen it hundreds of times yet with sisters and a brother always enjoy it. "Not For The Faith Hearted!" I start to make up right now for every wrong turn I've never made.
