Distinctly meh. I mean, it was kinda OK as crappy action films go, and stays ahead of the level of "I want my 2 hours back", but the acting was flimsy, the plot ropey; I felt a complete lack of engagement with it. There are better crappy action films to fill one's empty life with.

If I am being brutally honest, this movie was a little bit disappointing. If this movie was not the final X-Men movie in this timeline, it wouldn't have been this low as a review but as it is, it didn't provide the needs for a send-off that I had hoped. Also, the timeline is destroyed as Mystique was killed in this movie but she is alive and well in X-Men: Last Stand. The other characters are bland but Magneto was the best. Overall, this movie was not the worst X-Men movie, but it is one of them.

A very disappointing end to a series that has had some really good films like Logan and Deadpool, to terrible ones like x-men last stand or x-men apocalypse. It's not terrible, just boring, so very badly acted, full of plot holes and in universe inconsistencies. I just find it very disrespectful to end a good franchise this way.
