Won't be fixed until 2014 Knowing that the movie gets fixed in Days Of Future Past is one reason this movie isn't a complete wreck. But even knowing that, it still doesn't do the characters right. Kitty Pryde was a horrible casting pick and her performance was stale, Juggernaut should've been done in CG, Cyclops is only in it for 5 minutes and the film (once again) has cool newcomers like Beast and Angel but focus WAY TOO MUCH on Wolverine and Jean Grey.
So much dissapointmemt I really, really wanted to love this movie: X1 was such a great introduction to the characters, X2 was an excellent follow up, X3 was expected to follow the build and deliver something special. In that regard, it failed. The tone felt wrong compared to the first 2, and heavy rewriting of the mythology made the film difficult to enjoy. Some great ideas, I'll admit, but poorly fleshed out, and the bad ideas are some of the worst in sequel history. Thankfully, X-Men: First Class rescued the series.
Pretty good This movie ok! Juggernaut looks cool but acts weird! There is a lot of action in it though! I don't like that they killed off Scott (Cyclops) and Charles Xavier! Luckily Wolverine alters the past in days of future past! Just an ok film!
