In this psychological thriller from Blumhouse Productions and legendary screenwriter David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Panic Room), Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried star as a couple seeking a restful vacation in a remote home in the Welsh countryside. What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a terrifying nightmare when reality begins to unravel, dark episodes from the past resurface, and a sinister force in the house refuses to let them leave.

This may easily be one of the worst horror movies I've seen in quite awhile, which is impressive considering the number of low budget films recently released on netflix... No original concepts, stolen plots from other successful movies, horrible acting and its just.. not a good movie. Abort and save your pennies on this one.

The only reason i would give a one would be the little actress playing Ella, what a great job she did. Apart from that, Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seigfeld felt wrong playing a married couple it just felt icky knowing she is old enough to be his daughter...i must admit there were a couple of jumps but nothing else. KBac still looks pretty fit for his age. But overall i wasnt that impressed TBH..shame coz this could've been a great thriller like What Lies Beneath

Will not purchase or watch after Google play in their wisdom, Charged 20 dollars to rent. Anyway every review says its garbage. Not using this money grabbing format anymore. Bye Bye google play. Too many other options out there. It is on Amazon prime watch this cruddy movie for 2.99. ZERO STARS. Hollyweirdos
