Based on the true story of the gunfight at Hyde Park in Kansas. A recently widowered lawman befriends a boy dying of tuberculosis, and Rosie, a madam of the local brothel while their town is being overtaken by a gang of reckless cattlemen.

These are the kinds of stories Hollywood won't tell. It has the guns, girls, and a gruff sheriff, but it also has heart. It's a solid western, but really stands on its own as a drama that happens to be set in the Old West. The casting is excellent and it feels like the characters exist in a genuine world. This isn't one of your grandpa's genre films.

Great movie. Awesome story and amazing cast. I truly liked this movie and throughly enjoyed it. It was very well done and well performed. If you like westerns this is a must
