Tomorrow, When the War Began follows the journey of eight high school friends in a remote country town whose lives are suddenly and violently upended by a war that no one saw coming. was similar to film i saw some years ago about USA being attacked by USSR (Russian empire for younger people) and a bunch of high school kids forming a resistance. This film how ever is far superior, its a film that needs a sequel or to. Australian films seem to be getting rather good at the moment. I'm going to give it 5 stars because its the best in its of its type but maybe a 4 if your looking at it more generally. but i liked it very much a the plot acting was good by a bunch of young actors and it stayed away from a lot of the Hollywood every one has sex with the one they want.

Obvious rip off of red dawn (which is being remade) not a bad watch, but suffers from the usual teen flick cliques, hot girl dies first, lots of squabbling young jock has no real balls or moral sensibilities......think red dawn but without the grit and reality and substituted with Paris Hilton's friends. Watchable.....just.

A great film version of a great book! I wish they would do films of all 7 books.
