This film was deeply unpleasurable from start to finish. I don't think any film has made me want to gouge my eyes out and cut my ears off, but this did. Whoever thought a film featuring a middle aged actor playing a horrifying little 10 year old scrote that terrorises everyone around him purely because he can't go to a dinosaur theme park, frankly needs ostracizing from the film-making industry. I'm never going to get the hour and a half back that I wasted watching this warm bucket of urine.

Grodin and Short are a perfect pairing! Watch it and enjoy, ignore negative reviews. It actually makes me chuckle to read negative reviews, because they just don't get it! People rage out at the absurdity, without realizing that this movie is self aware and deliberately absurd! Clifford haters are like people who try to convince wrestling fans that wrestling is fake. It's a classic.

Such an underrated comedy cult classic featuring one of Martin Short's funniest performance while playing off Charles Grodin's straight-man character. Creepy at times? Yes. But in the end, the film has it's heart in the right place. I was lucky enough to catch this in movie theaters & just resonated with me over the years, like other comedic gems such as "Hot Rod". Plus Mary Steenburgen can still get it, if you know what I mean, Vern?
