I watch ALL horror movies. I have seen the whole spectrum, from total crap to incredible. This movie pretty bad. I am telling you. The surprising thing was that thr actors were quite good, the visuals were terrible and the scary scenes were way predictable. It just looked like they were running in a circle in the woods by mutants that looked like zombie rednecks. I gave this movie 2 stars ONLY BECAUSE I guess I have seen worse. ugh. LAME

The first one I have seen recently just is general horror but nothing too exciting. The opening credits have a certain kind of creepy horror I can't explain and it is effective there. It does feel scary leading up to the events when the guy is trying to go to where hes going, from there it is a bit genaric. It has fun horror action at the end and good kills but it is not great to me.... But it is not bad either. Some of the horror has well enough effect.

Within the Wrong Turn franchise this remake is worth watching, especially if you have seen the others. Its more of a thriller/horror and less gore. It was filmed in my home town so i loved seeing all the local landmarks, definitely an added bonus. Of you have seen any of the others you WILL enjoy this movie
