About this movie

British documentary style adventure thriller. A film crew venture into the Amazon jungle accompanied by zoology professor John Howson (Ben Loyd-Holmes) to conduct research on rare and endangered creatures. But the team are abandoned by their guide and quickly become lost in the vast rainforest. When they come face-to-face with a prehistoric T-Rex, the group realise they are the new prey of many other Jurassic predators that have survived in the region for thousands of years.

Yes - the dinos are like top special effects from back in the 80's, but they're good enough. What I love about this is the storyline, the script and above all, the acting. They were very convincing, not wooden like some other low budget production. I normally don't like films that are shown through a cast member using a camera, but in this they made the camera guys character brilliantly. I reckon he may have adlibbed somewhat, but it was fun watching how people reacted to his personality, then to see him change dramatically when confronted with mortal danger. There are a few times when lines from Jurassic Park are said. See if you can spot them. Give it a try - it is really good. I'm buying it.
