I give four stars only because the book is so much more thorough and convincing. But it would be impossible to fit so much information in one or two hours. This should have been a docu-series instead, devoting an hour or so to each country. But it was still good!

Lots of historical inaccuracies - falsely portraying Latinos as victims and Americans as "exploiters" - the influence of the United States in Latin America indeed created a many issues but blaming the U.S. for the economic and political challenges in the region the way this "documentary" does is not fair and not right.

This movie is an inspiration to the Latino community, not only does it capture the essence of our rich background but it tells our story in a manner that makes you want to keep watching and know more.
