When I sat down to watch Moments of Clarity for the first time I was caught off guard by how beautiful the visuals looked. I wasn’t expecting such quality from such a small film, but that didn’t make up the entire film’s quality. The dark humor was hilariously delivered by the phenomenal ensemble of actors (Eric Roberts as Hal, Lyndsy Fonseca as Danielle, Xavier Berkeley as Artemis and Kristin Wallace as Claire). The film paints a picture of an unlikely friendship between the two girls, Danielle and Claire, while they journey to find adventure. ‘Moments of Clarity’ really delivered on all elements of it’s making.

I was pleasantly surprised after watching the Moments of Clarity film. This witty and quirky comedy follows the story of a couple of misfits Danielle and Claire (played by Lyndsy Fonseca and Kristin Wallace respectively) who took a spontaneous roadtrip. This odd pairing transforms from an ordinary friendship to an inseparable bond as the two young women are no longer trapped under parental supervision. I was completely swept away into the whimsical world of Danielle and Claire and I felt as if I was alongside the girls as they embarked on a journey of self discovery. Winner of the Best Acting Performance in the category of Best Feature Film at the Boston International Film Festival, Kristin Wallace's quirky performance of Claire beautifully embodies the transition from adolescence into adulthood, while still holding on to the playful nature of the character. I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful and incredible artsy film and I absolutely believe it is worth the watch.
