I love this movie. Have since it came out. I love the Doors. There are a lot of accuracies and Val played an incredible Jim. There are some inaccuracies though. Jim did finish film school, and they made him out to be totally blasted all the time. Which isn't true. He was a lot! For sure! All though it's not meant to be a documentary. And of course they had to keep it entertaining! One of my all time favorite movies!

All the dazed slow dialogue gets almost unbearably boring after the first 40 minutes. Val Kilmer's acting was good even though it was limited. Did Jim really only have one mood, one expression, because Val only had one in this whole boring movie.

Please let me forget I watched this.... way too -extended Val Kilmer limped his way through this biopic. He looks the part but sorry he aint no Jim Morrison. Not close. Look out for THAW. 2009 one of his last decent speaking parts. Indie film at its messy best!
