Brilliant Oklahoma storm chaser Peter Jensen loses his wife in a tornado and leaves his old life behind. Ten years later, he returns to his home town to attend his estranged daughter's graduation and realizes that there is another storm developing that could destroy the whole region and must save his loved ones before it is too late.
