About this movie

From the Academy Award®-winning creators of TOY STORY and MONSTERS, INC. (2001, Best Animated Short Film, FOR THE BIRDS), it's FINDING NEMO, a hilarious adventure where you'll meet colorful characters that take you into the breathtaking underwater world of Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Nemo, an adventurous young clownfish, is unexpectedly taken to a dentist's office aquarium. It's up to Marlin (Albert Brooks), his worrisome father, and Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), a friendly but forgetful regal blue tang fish, to make the epic journey to bring Nemo home. Their adventure brings them face-to-face with vegetarian sharks, surfer dude turtles, hypnotic jellyfish, hungry seagulls, and more. Marlin discovers a bravery he never knew, but will he be able to find his son?

Buyer Beware! Great movie, but this "Digital HD" copy which was included in the Blu-ray purchase of this movie is actually "SD" (480p max) after you claim it on the Play store (it's SD here in Play Movie, and tagged "HD" if you try to play it on Youtube, but resolution remains SD). It's false advertisement. Beware: As far as I know, this is currently the case for all Disney/Pixar movies you might buy on Blu-ray that includes "Digital HD" copies. After a bit of running around with Google support to confirm it's not a playback issue on my end, it was finally suggested the Blu-ray providers themselves ("DisneyMovieOnDemand" and "PixarMovieOnDemand") be contacted; which is a pain in the rear.

I wish the average digital price on the market was 9.99 SD and 14.99 HD and down from there. You get way less bang for your buck VS a DVD or Bluray (no behind the scenes, no Pixar film shorts etc), so movie companies like Disney, Warner Bros etc, should price these accordingly/fairly. Still bought it though cause this is a great movie and the SD still looks great on my HTC ONE X+ screen.

Unfortunately, like most who enjoy the great work of pixar in contempoary times And Disney, and all.things Disney in all times, Ive had sevetal distractions where I have frankly had to paise my purchase ( Finding Nemo) only to have Google stop my 48 hr window I OWN to watch the content from Play at my pace, I have been impeded, and I might add there is another agenda at work here... Best Regards now and Always. John P Quinn, Clinton Gore 1992
