“Inheritance” is the story of Monika Hertwig, formerly Monika Goeth, and her journey to learn about and accept the fact that her father was a prominent Nazi during WWII. As part of Monika’s search for information, she reaches out to Helen Jonas, a woman who had been enslaved by Monika’s father during the war. When these two soft-spoken women meet, more than sixty years after Monika’s father was executed for his war crimes, it is both a closure and a new beginning.
