Ratings and reviews

The original Surf's Up movie is one of my all time favorites. This is a mildly amusing followup but doesn't even come close to comparing to the original. The all star cast from the the first movie is gone (only Chicken Joe and Tank have the same voice actors) and the story is not nearly as inspiring. Big Z is completely absent from the movie and Cody seems to have forgotten that Big Z was his hero growing up. I'll watch it again if my kids want to but I can't really give this movie high marks.

Can I give it negative stars. I'm a huge fan of the original Surfs Up movie. This movie is a major insult to the original. Story line is all messed up, charictures are completly wrong, and no Big Z. The only people who might like it are those with a fetish for watching a otter give a fish a BJ. Complete Garbage!

Very disappointed. We know that a sequel can work if the right resources are combined. This has none of them...Saturday morning cheese ball animation. Relied on old material and couldn't even keep the original cast. This movie had terrible animation, by its original standard....Was this a made for T.V. cartoon. Seriously, this sequel killed what could have been a franchise of sequels.
